E46 M3 - K&N Typhoon

Guys,

Being offered a Eurospec E46 M3 K&N typhoon kit for what seems like a good price.

Does anyone have any experience of them? I know of the suggested power issues due to heatsoak and lean running but its the noise I'm interested in. Any one heard one on a car?

There might be a group buy possibility, any one interested?

I had on on my car. Sounded AWESOME. Loudest bolt on induction you can get for the M3 bar the CSL airbox. Difficult to describe the exact noise but if you imagine a Porsche 996 with the sport exhaust booting it, the 'blare' is similar to the induction noise from the Typhoon. It'll drown the exhaust rasp altogether.

Heatsoak is a problem only on the hottest days, which isn't a problem here. I swapped mine to the Carbonio because I wanted more eye candy under the bonnet :D
