Lambo dors?
I am seriously considering getting lambo's in 4-6 months or so.
I would get them from roy at CA, considering this are they worth the money and would you fit lambo doors? Yes or No???

I know roy has a lot of friends on here but i want un-biased opinons please, nothing against roy, i've spent about a grand with him already!!!

Post your thoughts.

I'm afraid I voted no mate. I prefer the more subtle mods so lambo doors are a bit OTT for my taste.

Saying that, we have struck at the whole point of modding. Putting your mark on your car and styling it to your taste, if you think Lambo doors would look good, go for it. :)

If you do go for it, try and get a decent kit, however cool they look, I think they would lose their appeal if they started swinging all over the place.

Good luck with your decision,

Shuriken.

If your getting the kit from Roy, then they dont wobble anymore. The kit is very good now and is completely bolt on and bolt off. Theres a Mk5 Golf in Burnley with the same kit and its perfect.

Id say go for it.

Hmmm - what happens if you are T-boned? Are they going to affect the structural safely of the car? And will undoubtedly lower the resale value.

And what would your insurance company say?

Sorry to be an old git but [thumbsdow unless they are on a Lambo

Voted no mate, but then ultimately the decision is yours. I have asked opinions on stuff and it doesn't matter what anyone else actually says, if you want to do it then you should do it anyway. However, if you are even a little unsure then don't.

I'd personally spend it on something else, but then I'm not you :D

Like most the boys say (ITS UP TO YOU) only you can say if you want this mod, will you love it? i would say that you would because your thinking of having it done, like me i think it is a sweet mod, if resale value is in the back of your mind then may be you should think of another mod, other wise why not go for it. If resale value was not a problem for me and money i would have it done, the looks you would get from people in the street would love it. ;) Also Roy would be the Man to do this mod for you im sure of that. ;) [ok

I have voted no as I personally think lambo doors belong on a lambo BUT modding is all about being individual and expressing your own personality through your car so if that is what gets your juices going then go for it, it is your car and your money :D .

Hey mate, just thought I would add a bit more after seeing those pics above. If you do it, I think you should go for a kit where the doors up only, unlike some of those pics above where they are coming outwards too.

Just my opinion mate. :)

LOL..ok I started all this on another thread and to be honest this is what I think.

1. If you've pretty much modded your ride to the teeth and really don't know what else to do but you just what that one thing to make your ride stand out then do it. [cool

2. If your going to use your car as a show car then do it. [cool

Otherwise no , use that £1600 on some serious mods. It's a mod that nobody will actually see whilst your driving along so it wont't get noticed at all. :D

However, if you are even a little unsure then don't.

This is a very good point!!!

Because i'm so unsure i really dont know what to do, so for now i'll have to seriosly think about it, and maybe go and visit roy soon and see if i can see a car fitted with one of he's kits.

I think you are right. You need to see the actual kit fitted and in the flesh to help you decide. It's a lot of money and a mod which isn't quickly reversible if you don't like it.

The new kits i have seen, use a complete bolt on, bolt off kit. Only thing that needs hacking is the wiring looms extending about a foot. Reversible in about 3 hours.

No. BMWs are much, much better with more subtle mods. Not a fan of the bling bling era, but keeping it close to traditional always wins it for me. It's all about the class and sophistication! :)
