It's very hard to come by, it's the original E46 CSL console. 100% carbon fibre. Got it 2nd hand, but untouched. Looks so good I don't want to put it on my car!....LOL
lol give it to me then ;)
U know what you want to do is start making copies and selling them...... Not that would help someone with a saloon :o Still mega nice Nick.

I'm sure I can provide Teddy with a template....LOL :D

I bought it 2nd hand from a CSL owner for £200. Nowadays, I don't really care if it's not meant to fit, I shall make it fit ;) ....... :D But AFAIK, looks like a straight swap.
Mate i would have to say, that sounds like a bargin :)
soon all that will be left to do is hit the treadmill .

so why is the CSL owner selling it? he found something better?

Ermmm...no, he keeps certain parts as spares just in case he scratches them. He's also got a brand new front bumper with carbon splitters as spare just in case he's got more stonechips than he would like during a track session. See bro, some people are just in a different league :( , which is good because of them, we more modest ones can get a better bargain ;)
£700 for a few hours of track driving on cup tyres, yeah why not.........
 so thats how the big boys play

Custom mounted. Nice ;) With the panel out, you can drill throughh and make sure all the wires are nicely hidden. Problem is, I don't fancy drilling through 1mm of pressed and lacquered CF :(

For any of you e46 coupe owners who might be interested and haven't spotted it already there's an new OEM csl boot lid on ebay, the number is: 4508716099 . Just stick that into the search.
Video's pretty good.

Yep that's Joe from HTR. IMHO CSL boot lid you need an aggressive ie:fat rear end for it to look good. Stick it on a standard E46 and the rear proportion will look too tall.

Would look OK on a standard e46 m3

I am driving so fast these days that both my hands were constantly on the wheel! :p

It was not straight forward mainly because I have the BMW/Motorola phone set up. A lot of wires need to be identified and the carpet running on top of hte transmission tunnel has to come out. Best of all, 2 airbag modules are right underneath it! Imagine trying to identify those wires and not snip the wrong one! I'm glad it's all done and no warning light on the dash

Sounds like a Hollywood bomb disposal movie.
The red one, no, the blue one, no, the yellow one. Sweat dripping off your forehead. One chance and one chance only, which one do you go for!
Well done Nick that looks awesome, r u happy with the outcome??
