E46 Headlights

Can someone explain the difference in the E46 facelift headlights. On some facelift e46's the line below the inner headlight is a straight horizontal line which then flares downwards around the outer headlight, on others its a kind of upwards curve which repeats under both headlights. Is this the difference between coupe or saloon or what?

Top one is facelifted E46 coupe lights, bottom one is facelifted E46 saloon lights. The tail lights are a different shape on both cars too.

Yep, just coupe and saloon. I think the indicator is separate from the headlight in the saloon.
