View Full Version : FOR SALE : Alpine 6 disc MP3 changer+soundlnx adapter
I bought this thinking it'll work with my car, but alas not with the DSP system.
Also has the Soundlinx bmw adapater, Will work with any E39/E46 without DSP. Direct replacement to standard BMW 6disc changer.
Looking for what I paid.. £150, its boxed, manuals, etc. excellent condition.
Cheers

Werd. Nass was after one, I told him to check for pre-wiring too, just in case, i know his is an early e46 so not sure if he has the cage or the pre-wiring for plug and play

no probs mate, model no is CHA-S634. Do you already have the bmw black oem cd changer? its a direct replacement, using the soundlinx module.

As far as I'm aware he has NO CD changer that's why I asked him to check he had the pre-wiring

how do i check if i had pre-wiring or not?
where do i look for them?
i have single disc cd player on my car already, does it mean i probably already have pre-wiring?

Get into your boot, pull away the boot lining from the left hand side and you'll see a cage. You'll also see a cable ending in nothing, that's the CD changer cable. It takes about 10 minutes to do.

actually there are 2 cables lol
tin i havnt got a cd changer atall only the tape player
not too worry, the changer comes with the mounting brackets, so can be placed under the rear window shelf...
Please check for the cabling as Fas suggests above.
