Need a little advice.
My car is currently running at about 205-210bhp, i want to increase it by 50-100bhp, what are my options? supercharger, turbo, chip, etc...
So far i've got the CAI and eisemann quad exhaust fitted but thats it for performance.
Supercharging and turbo's cost 3-5k from what i can find, not sure if i want all the hassle of supercharger's and turbo's!
What could i do to get my bhp up to and over 250bhp??? a chip will add 20bhp if i'm lucky, is there any other options or is it just supercharger, turbo or chip????

Help us out here guys!

Nitrous. Its the only option if your after so much usable power.

If your after 240ish then;

Enlarged throttle body
Inlet manifold
Exhaust manifold
Decat
LW pullies.
Then a custom remap after all have bbeen installed.
Friend of mine has a 328 with these mods, and has had several results from 240-255bhp.

Thanks mate,

Sorry to be a pain but 'roughly' what would all that cost??? 1-2k???

Yeah i would say so. Depends if you could source any used parts.

Remember if you do go Sc or turbo. You will need new clutch etc.

Lee s advice is spot on , but personally I would not necessarily opt for Nos because :

1. can only be used at full throttle
2. can only really be used in a straight line situation
3. bottle runs out fast , however big :)

some die hards ( inc me i am afraid to say ..) consider Nos a bit of a "cheat " .
having said the above it is hard to beat a good Nos upgrade in terms of value for money , ie BHP for £'s spent

For my money spend £3800 on an ASA sk plus charger system , Lees 330 is producing about 320 bhp on an entry level system !!!!!!!!!

best of luck either way
