View Full Version : Getting your stuff Sprayed
Guys how much does it cost usually to get stuff like a bumper sprayed and stuff like side mirrors ect? Teddy told me to ask you lot (Fas in particular :p ) because he only knows official bmw people who will eat away at your wallet.
Teddy suggested i dont get new side skirts since its not a major difference. Should be going with an M tech front and something to match behind (havent decided yet :o)

At my place, bumper £100, mirrors, £60, Sideskirts £150, these prices are approximate it depends on the condition of the pieces.
The best thing about my place is that the price they quote includes fitting. Peppernick has used them and the paint on one of his skirts bubbled. Even though it was a cash job with no receipt, they took it off, repainted it and refitted without a second thought.

yep, top work, and some serious motors to boot too. got my rear diffuser done, fitted.. top work.. no pics just yet..but will have soon!!!

ok cool. Fas ill let you know before hand when im going to get the bumper. Im thinking of just getting the mtech front for now off teddy. Its gotta look better than stock right even on its own. Might be getting the mirrors off him aswell :D.
Would appreciate if could pop down their one day with ya :).

Umm since when did Teddy do Mtech Fronts ??? If thats the case i might have to look into that one.

Nick, you have to come along too. They've just become contractors for Maranello's, doing all pre-delivery work as well as crash repair. 575s, 360CS, 612, etc. etc. etc and you're allowed to sit in them too :D Except it burst my bubble when I realised I couldn't physically fit into a 360 :(

prices are similar to what i pay my paint shop in feltham :-) fas place did paint my side skirts for me an dthere work was top notch :-)
Cool so fas you reckon if i was to get an M tech they would charge about £100 to spray it. I assume its cheaper to spray a front left wing? Lets just say thats £100 aswell.
I phoned up quotation guy and he said a second hand stock bumper costs him £35! So i dont understand why hes charging £800 in total to sort the car out. So if i go with him and get my own bumper itll cost me around £1050.
Anyways if i get an m tech for around £350 including paint. A wing for around £250 including painting. Thats 600. Now the only thing left is the mirrors + £150 which makes £750 and the dents in the doors. Do you reckon panel perfect ect.. can deal with those? Otherwise think ill pop down to that body shop you were saying fas and get a quote.
Car will still be sorted around £1000 i reckon and theyll all be new parts and NOT STOCK.
Need some feedback guys since i want to get this sorted asap.

If you're free this weekend, pop over, we'll see my man, he sometimes has left over bumpers / sideskirts / wings etc kicking around. I need to see him anyway, if you can't make it, I can always ask for you
yea my dad should be back from germany tomorrow evening so will talk it over with him and get back to ya then! Also waiting for teddy to confirm M-tech.
I just got the car washed. They T'cutted the white marks off (95% of them anyways). Paint work isnt damaged at all! so i just got in contact with panel perfect and paul said hell see what he can do. He didnt have his diary with him so going to phone him in the morning to get a booking in. Hopefully hell work his majic on the doors :D :D :D.

hope he can sort you out, you can also email him some pictures first if you want to see what he says.
it shouldn't cost much.
