I have just become to owner of this

picked it up last night and I am more than chuffed, 53k on the clock and heaps of potential

Two totally different cars,

the e46 is just newer better workmanship, its quite, its smooth

The Z on the other hand great fun, noisy, poorly made bmw, unpractical. Saying that if I didnt drive it everyday it would have been fab

Ok here is what i did all Saturday, It was dark by the time i got around to cleaning my car for the pod

Started off at the wheels, using some AG cleaner and a choice of brushes

then i hit the detailed parts with some light APC and a brush

After this i Washed the car with Megs Gold Class using a 2 bucket wash method with a lambswool mit. Rinsed with a open hose and dried with a super soft Dura-gloss Dry towel.

Time to attack the paint, I clayed the car with a Megs clay and speed detailer

After the clay i did a single pass with Dodo Juice prime lime to cut and clean the paint and prep it for wax

time to wax, I did a layer with some Dodo Juice super natural, I only had enough for 1 layer

I also did another layer with some Megs wax just to get abit more protection on there. Then all the usual, Chem guys trim gel on all the seals and tyres, I sealed the wheels with some Zaino ZCS and passed the paint with some Zaino Z6

Nice car Kite, best combo for the E46, we searched for 13months before getting the right car/combo a couple of years back.

Paul - nice clean - don't forget the silvervision bulbs!!
