Electric Mirrors on 330CI Sport 2004!!!!!

Hi guys i am looking to put a deposit on a Used Approved 330ci sport facelift model.

One thingh tht keeps bugging me is tht it doesnot have electric folding mirrors and having lost so many rear view mirrors to narrow roads its a absolute must have cool feature for me.

Does anyone knw if there are any aftermarket soultions or can BMW do this for me. The dealer seems to think tht it is not possible to retrofit. I have electric seats and guessing all the wiring must be in there, so belive its quite possible but need some expert opinion on this before i go for the plunge. Please Help

u can retrofit wiring for them but I have found out that they are not financially viable at all - much cheaper finding a car that's got them pre-wired. there's plenty of cars to choose from so if u really want them, i'd just keep looking!

dont ask a bmw stealer anything about moddiing! they are full of shit when it comes 2 modding. the answer 2 ur Q is yes u can retro fit them :D

and there is a few ppl that supply them teddy being 1 of them ssdd-motorsports (http://www.ssdd-motorsport.com/)

Yeah, Teddy can supply em - just make sure you buy a car with electric mirrors & electric /memory seats so it has the wiring you need for auto-fold mirrors :D

Just cheked out SSSG site it seems that the mirrors are not compayible with facelift models which is the one i am planning to go for!!!

I am not sure about prefacelift coupes but all facelift coupes have electric seats as standard.

If your going to buy an o4 330ci sport it will have electric memory seats, if you want to upgrade to power fold mirrors you need only to change the multi switch in the drivers door armrest and buy power fold mirrors, try FAB direct for the power fold mirrors(used)

I'm struggling to find the oem part number for the multi switch at the moment, i'll dig it out an PM you, I got it from BMW Land forum, or give it till Monday and i'm sure Nick will tell you.

all 330CI has electric seats as standard..

You have three options you either buy

1. brand new electric Mirrors from BMW and which cost you arm and leg. Not including painting and fitting!!

2. source 2nd ones from breakers.

3.Buy SSDD motorsports electric M3 replicas.

i go for the 3rd options. cheaper...

Part No for the switch is 61316901383 i think. Just ask BMW the parts department. £25 for the switch

I think replica M3 mirrors make the most sense too. No point replacing elephant ears with elephant ears But sadly SSDD website says they arent compatible with facelift models :(

Also Facelift 330Ci sport 2003, Auto, leather from a BMW dealer. How much should i really be looking at paying.

Theres a pair of standard autofold coupe mirrors on ebay at the mo, just spotted em, no bids as yet. Includes module for the folding.
