just saying a quick hello to you all from Portugal [hiya
its 45 degrees C and I'm melting .... would nt mind so much but we're not even really on vacation , so cant chill and try and enjoy it ( hard life I know ...)
We are still trying to sort out the planning and construction permits and details to hopefully make a Portuguese version of CA out here and as usual with these things it takes longer than it should / could . The goverment officials here are so slow and laid back you have to poke them with a stick to make sure they are still breathing.
If all goes well we hope to eventually end up with a workshop area for 3 ramps , parking for 15 cars , and a comfortable indoor and outdoor waiting area in nice surroundings ...lets see if it works out .
As I may have mentioned before , there is quite a big illegal street race scene over here , which hopefully we can cater to .The competing cars are mainly of the likes of the pug 306 , opel corsa , golfs , Evos and scoobies ( only mildly tuned if at all ) and the odd BMW . Cant wait to get Alex's M3 over here when it is done and hopefully create a big impression , as nothing here even comes close :D
By the way I am not trying to look miserable or hard in the pic below ...just hung over on Aguadente , the national drink ,which translated means literally Fire Water ! :p I cannot imagine a more apt description .
regards to all
