After selling my 5 on Friday :-( I needed something to keep me busy). Lucky for me gie0320 gave me his bro in laws 530 to play with mods fitted are:-

M5 wings
m5 inner arches
m5 brake ducts
m5 front and rear bumper
m5 side skirts
quad exhaust
m5 bumper side carriers
m5 rear bumper diffuser (to stop it flapping around)
eibach lowering springs
20mm spacers all round.

now it was time to take it to my mates garage for some lowering and exhaust fitting

Stripping the front shocks (I hate doing the 5 lol)

check out the length of the rear bolt which holds the bottom of the rear shock lol!

both rear inner arches have to come out to get the rear shock out, on the drivers side you also have to remove a few other bits

exhaust ..the old obe has to be cut off and the new one welded in the exhaust was a bit of a pain but got it done in the end

more mods to follow soon so keep them peeled the car will be at santa pod (even though i wont lol) :(

P.S. - Hello to all on here, just joined up and my 1st post. Hopefully try and see some of you at the pod

I had done what i could to the 5 mate and the only thing really left was maybe a SC but i didnt want to spend that kind of extra money on it and also the gearbox apparently isnt up to the job (from what i have read state side). Also since buying my 5 there are too many boys in west london copying what I had done so it was time to move on, the 5 was the best bm I had owned but trust me the 7 will be on another level lol! I dont think many people will be copying that !. The 6 is tempting but there is no room in the back so its not an ideal family car for 4 me
