Hi Guys,

Just got back this weekend from a week away, took the F430 down to portugal.

Took a 24hour ferry between Portsmouth and Spain. To cut out all of France.

Roads were empty, and for the 1st time got to understand what this car is really about.

Best car i have every driven on a road trip, so much fun.

I thought I would share some pictures.
I left the car in Portugal, but going back there in a few weeks ;-).

Pics look great !!

How was the ferry journey ?? Is it the one to Bilbao ??

I have driven to Marbella a couple of times now. I personally love the french motorways but it just takes so long to get right down into Spain

Awesome!

Would love to do something like this, almost regretting getting the R8 now, when i have the money to buy an F430 with warranty, I WILL HAVE ONE! lol

Took the one to Santander. It works out the same as driving. As it will take around 12 hours to cover France, at which point you will want to sleep. Get up in the morning.. by at which point the ferrry has come in.

So way you get to Spain, have a nice drive, not too long. Not too many miles on the car. And dont have to do the french toll roads.

I am doing Marbella on the way back at the end of August, should be fun!

KissMyRs, you are right though, you have to have a F430 with warranty, otherwise its just a killer. When I got mine, was only looking at ones with warranty.

Nice pics Durgesh :cool: :cool: ,Portugal is a pretty cool place I think,some of the roads are proper driving ones.Did you take the mountain route out of Santander?we used to go that way with the trucks and admire the way they left crashed artics down the ravines because they have no way of getting them back out :)

Black Sabbath, Yes took the mountain route, to be honest that was the best part of the drive. It was amazing every few miles we would get a village, and the acoustics would make the car wake up the village.

Westside, Well funny you say that, before I drove to the family home in the south. I went to Indian wedding near Lisbon for a few days, were at least 700Indians! LOL

gorgeous car and pics are awesome - particularly like the ones by the marina.... 430 looks at home next to those yachts

may sound like a daft question but how did you manage to keep the rarri looking so clean?

MistaSmiff, Did not want to get stone chips on the front of my Smart. :rolleyes:

Theivz, To be honest, she has not be washed in any of those pictures. Just "looks" clean. It's also was dry and hot, so that helps a little.

Would have been great to have you around for the pictures, I am sure they would have come out 10x better!
