Rear Lights, saloon

I have an early 330 saloon which has the standard rear lights. I have seen on the later saloons that they have nice crystal rear lights (not leds), but they look like there are more lights in the outside bit. Can I buy a set of the later spec lights and just put them in or are they totally different?

can't imagine why there would be more lights in a rear cluster on later models. Any pics?

I would assume it's more a design thing that would make it look like more lights are available. What else can there be apart from indicators, reverse lights, 1 fog light, brake lights.

That's the ones, that's what I want. Now all I need is someone with a late spec saloon who has upgraded to the leds and I'll slot those babies onto mine. :) :)

yarse, simple plug n play but make sure u get the boot bits too so the white bits line up nicely. No probs with fitment. All I need is a private reg :cool:

Try BM Bits..I remember getting a quote for 75squid for the pair of used oem ones.

Mitsu, question for you. On the later spec saloons, when you have your side lights on, the rear boot lights light up. I assume that they have dual filiment bulbs in them. Do they light up on yours or did you have to run another wire to them?

hmmm...mine's light up exactly the same as pre-face lift models, i.e. when u have ur sidelights on, only the main clusters light up, instead of the boot bits. boot bits will only light up when u reverse and when you have your rear fog on. so no, no extra wires for me.
