I can't be bothered to read all of the scoobynet thread but the scooby driver (JDM) admits the road is dangerous as his reason for not undertaking. Ok, so if it's dangerous, why did he try it on with the BMW. I'm not saying the bmw driver wasn't a complete knob and insulting him and his wife was unnecessary, as was his whole post really, but the JDM guy seems to be having trouble fighting his case.

I can confirm that that road is dodgy, I don't know it well enough to know exactly where he was, but as far as I know, its a bit renound for accidents as you get nearer to Brighton.

Also, they're reasons to try and quantify undertaking is b****cks, it is legal if you are in a traffic jam situation or the lanes are segregated (going different places for example) but not in that scenario. The rule is there to improve safety and I presume there is a very good reason it got implemented.

Oh well, whatever, nice to see that some people defended BMW drivers in general though. :)
