Can it be fixed?Mark closed the laptop but I left a pen on key board so now my screen has gone all funny on one side

Eek... Not good...

There are specialist laptop repair companies for this sort of thing but your looking at £100 ish for a replacement LCD. A new laptop is only around £300 these days.

Sorry for not being able to give better news.



ps; I'm sure he feels guilty enough without the topic name / blaming :(

i think she said one side is funny so she can still use it i supposed

i broke my laptop screen years ago and had it replaced, it cost more than half of what the laptop cost in the first place. they are much cheaper now so perhaps buying a new one is a better option darling

my wife is good at putting them in the washing machine:( someone bought the water-soaked one for 130quid on fleabay tho:)

You should be able to get a new screen online for about £50 to £70 Mark. What is your model and I will find it out for you? J
