Fitting will comence on Monday we hope, along with the suspension and brakes, antiroll bars... De-cat pipes and centre pipe is on now.. Worst thing is I still have to come back to the UK for fittment as our workshop in jersey is on a 3 week lead time at the moment  means I have to keep looking at all these part before they go on its tourture
Basic spec of the kit is as follows: and no it does not require opening up the engine, however we will be uprating the motor later in the year to allow for a few power upgrades, and more boost, the kit at the moment is a straight bolt on install..

Active Autowerke Cast Intake Manifold
Front Mounted air to air Intercooler
Active Autowerke By-Pass Valve

Active Autowerke Mass Air Meter Housing
Supercharger Oil Cooler

Hi Raja
The projected install for the Super charger kit is around 20hrs with the water/alcohol injection, yes the kit is DIY and comes with neat CD that gives clear and detailed instructions, also Phone support is also offered should you encounter any problems ( were always there to help [ok )

just to clear up the situation on getting stuff fitted in jersey
- if we send products to jersey and you buy / fit in jersey then this is all VAT free , as long as you actually transact the payment whilst on jersey soil .
- strictly speaking , if you have bought something in jersey / channel isles in last 6 months and are bringing it back to the UK you have to pay VAT and duty ( aprox 20% ) on the jeesey purchase price on entering the UK / Europe .
- HOWEVER ...in practice it is perfectly feasible to drive your car over to jersey and purchase and have fitted there performance parts VAT FREE, then drive the car back to UK without paying any VAT etc...who is to know any different ? The only caution I would adivise is not to bring back any of the oem parts that have been replaced with you in your boot etc , as this may raise eyebrows at customs . We can post these oem items back to you or dispose of them.

Any update on this install? AA kits have shown remarkable durability from what I've read on M3forum.net - I am suprised that the install is so long, I'm sure I read somewhere closer to 10hrs. Either way - get that thing up and running! [cool

Hi Guys
Its Alex here, Sorry that havnt posted for a bit but anyone whos spoken to me the past couple of days will know that Im flat out at the moment
Cars nearly done, got the ECU from Active today so straight in the car. The kits taken a ittle longer to fit because it was designed for a left hand drive car so we had to make brackets and templates so it all fitted correctly and to make sure that we had templates for any further cars we do, the suspension is going on today I hope, and then just the carbon to do on the doors and put the short shift in.. I will post up some pics but it will take a few days for me to do so ok... Im really excited about getting it back, got a couple of days over here when I get it back then its home for the exhaust and the BBK conversion to do, then back for a trip round bruntingthorpe (thats gona be entertaning) and a bit of track time
I wil keep you all updated, not long to go know :)
Cheers guys

Hi guys
the car is actually running now , and Alex is so busy salivating and masturbating on this point he has asked Uncle Roy to do the update post ( make sure you wipe any mess off my sofa Al :p )
reason we are taking so long is :
1. Alex will shoot me and Mick if all is not perfect
2. we are taking note of all the myriad small changes required to fit to a right hand drive car, so we can soon offer a true bolt on RHD kit layout .
We are halfway through setting up a dealership in South Africa , in conjunction with a friend john christou , regular visitors to CA website may have seen details of his yellow E36 M3 turbo . Anyway , a few weeks ago we sent John an E46 M3 supercharger kit for his new car , he completed installation yesteday and is very happy .Even though he lives 1.4 km above sea level *( air less dense ) the software is working fine and just check the power / torque !!
The power graph below is for Johns car , the extra power is down we think to previously supplied CA parts as follows :
- CA profile Schrick cams with extra duration and lift ( but no extra overlap as this tends to blow unburnt charge out the exhaust ports on force inducted aplications )
- dekat , x pipe and eisenmann le mans back box
- custom headers ( not CA )
we hope to have more pics and updates soon , once all the road testing is done we will get dyno plots posted for Alex 's car .
regards to all from Portugal :)

Nice!..................but no graphs:p
shall I order you some eye glasses then Lee :) ;)
I have to be honest , as a rule I like to think I am quite conservative/ skeptical on ( big ) power claims , and even tho ' I know John well personally , i find the dyno figures a little high , especially at that altitude ...but there could be so many reasons .
You just cant compare power readings from different dynos with each other ....I have seen as much as 40 bhp variation on same day , same car , same ambient conditions but different dyno / operator.
The car does run a C13 avgas / pertol mix , 1:4 ,which will certainly help to more fully ignite all the charge in the cylinder . Sometimes with high boost pressures normal fuel does not burn completey thro whilst in the cylinder , thus some of it is ejected out the exhaust ports .
Thanks for your kind comments cable guy , and btw I will have your BPUK wheel quote for you hopefully tomorrow , just awaiting shipping confirmation from Daniel ;)
all the best

Hi guys
Alex here, right quick update we now have the car back.............. :o
And its mental, ;)
drove it back from Wembly at 1am last night after picking up Roy and Laura been taking it easy at the moment to let everything bed in, first impressions car is very smooth through out the rev range and pulls hard once you get to around 3600 rpm and it just doesnt stop pulling meaning three figure speed come very quickly even in 6th gear. Gave it a little bit just coming home in the lower gears and boy oh boy its fun and so quick im gona have a riot at Donny and Brunters, the Bilstiens ride are excellent really comfy but the car feels really planted even when pushed. We are gona take some pics and a vid tommorw when it stops raining.
