Teddy,
I could do with a bracket for my original GruppeM. Will your brackets fit and can I buy one?

rims = big money :( besides I don't see anything I like at the moment..when I change it'll be something that no one has...wait and see
pro kit is sitting in my living room the problem is they can't do tracking for my car once it's lowered the front splitters will catch the ramp...

take your car to feltham tyres, they have a flat drive on ramp

feltham tyres was the garage I went to test bro...it's just ok for my car to go onto the ramp now, they said I have no chance once it's been lowered so I'll need someone who knows how to take the front bumper off and come with me to the garage. Take the front bumper off there, get the car tracked, put the bumper back on again....:(

Try the one in Slough, I'm pretty sure it was a sunken ramp which was just driven onto. They have the full hunter laser alignment too.
Surely your splitter is removable? Is it screwed or glued on?

No. Brackets wern't in there. It just sits with the front lip wedged under the bonnett when its closed.
Whilst on the subject, here's a question for you on the noise, which might be bracket related. Upto 5,500 rpm it gives off a deep growl but above that it starts to "parp". The only sound like it I've heard before is from a 355.
I'm thinking, OK, it either sounds the bollocks or, under full throttle and high revs the thing is vibrating like a basta*d and making the noise.
Any clues? If you find the bracket let me know, I'll cover the postage.

I'm very sure the bracket was in there, I believe I even mention it in one of my PMs to you. I wrapped it up with newspaper and stuffed it at the bottom.
It's just a piece of metal which is not even in the correct length, you will need to bend it to fit.
The GruppeM sits snugly under the bonnet, none of the E46fanatics guys use the bracket, I did not myself. The rattling noise I get sometimes is because the sidelights I cable tied down was rattling against the front of the car because of the induction force. Just make sure nothing is loose at the back of your headlamp.
