Nice one Mike but why trade a newer shape model for the older one?

I suppose it is a "downgrade" in some ways but in others it`s all thats needed. We bought the 1er 3 yrs ago when she was doing 40K miles a year, after changing jobs a year back she now does 6K miles a year and its always garaged from Fri to Mon without turning a key. To be honest guys, I have absolutley no desire to have brand new cars on the drive anymore.

When she said she wanted a 3dr E46 I thought she meant a Coupe but she wants a Compact, the ES already comes with sports suspension, elec windows, air con, M sport S/wheel and Gear knob which is all she needs. The MFSW with cruise control can be added for £100 from Ebay but she doesn`t even want this.

We get married in Sept, so she`ll be after some sort of Baby Wagon in 18mths time, leaving the Compact out of work, funnily enough my M3 will be moving on around this time, so this little Compact might end up scaring the shit out of a few supercars. :D

I watched Simpson`s mount a complete M3 rear end to a 320 `vert on Mon along with a S/C 330 engine swap, Anthony said at the thime "I`d love to do a Compact project", we`ll see. 1370 KG`s before a strip out and 600 + HP ;)

I know someone with a e46 compact with a e46 M3 engine, and it goes like stink, but it's just sitting in his garrage now as he lost his licence "testing it".
