mmmm im sure i tried both ways, but there seems to be no 'lugs' to line up the holder , maybe i didnt pullem hard enought but with it being at tight space it seemed like a pita!

Ill have another go tommoroww . im dreading doing the indicator bulbs thought , seems i gotta remove the wings to do'em! j/k :D

wing ones are easy. You need a piece of plastic though, something like a credit card.

Push the plastic towards the front of the car, it'll move 2-3mm, slide the credit card between the bodywork and the plastic light cover and it'll pop out. Pull the lens out as much as you can, when it stops after a couple of cm, rotate in either direction 90 degrees and out it comes

Just a thought on the sidelights. When you're twisting, push in at the same time

yeah just try twisting them harder, on some older cars there is dirt and dust trapped in between, you do need a bit of force to twist them and get the out.

be careful with the LED bulbs , please check :

1. that you can actually see the light off angle ( LED s are mainly directional in their light output , straight ahead )
2. That they do not flash too fast for MOT regs ...if so we can supply you resistors that should this .

regarding removal of bulb holders Fas and teddy are spot with their advice IMO

best of luck

PS if car is a 735 or 740 we have developed a carbon induction kit for it if this interests you :)
