At the Pod few weekenda ago.

13.1@106mph.

Not bad, were several S5's Audi's there, they couldnt better 13.5@101mph and outlaunched me to the 60ft (4wd for ya);)

Beat Z4M easily also.

Big up the DMS boys once again.

Who would have ever thought a diesel bmw could do anywhere near a low 13 5 years ago. I certainly would not have believed it.

Put it this way, its pretty much neck and neck between me and the DXB.

Their was a thread on mtorque regarding a 535d, which kept up with a an e46 m3, and the M3 driver posted asking whether his car was faulty looooool :D

Awesome. What tyres are you running. I know diesel turbos don't need wastegate valves (dump valves) as its kind of immune from detonation but do you use the handbrake and put the engine under some strain for a quick start or is it just a case of quick thinking time and drop the clutch?

He has an auto. So he left foot brakes, whilst holding the revs up a bit. When the light turns green, he lets off the brakes, and floors it the rest of the way on the gas pedal.

Didn't realise it was an auto, fook me I reckon you could shave a few tenths off with a manual box

There is no manual 335 though. No BMW gearbox can handle the torque...
