Mapped E60 M5 204mph Video

One of our customers has just had a custom re-map and Rpi scoops fitted to his car by us the rest of the car is completely standard and here are the results of his road test :

Im pretty sure thats not wise to post up and say that he's your customer lol.

I know its real, but it just weird how slowly he goes past other vehicles. Any one else think that?

agreed. Like as if the average speed on there is 140+, it looks wierd. But we know its an M5 and we know the top end of 7th will be silly speeds.. So it has to be real... few people suggesting its kmh, but no way, as we can see the RPM/gear/speed... it has to be mph..

Think you are all pretty naive if you think this guy can't be traced from this video, other number plates can be viewed on this clip and with todays traffic camera and ANPR systems it would be a simple exercise of cross referencing those number plates against dates they travelled to pick up this car from their video archives.

Phil if you beleive the Police will swallow that, your a fool. They`ll seize anything and everything. If its your customer I`d advise hime to remove it but the thread on Mtorque says that the original poster has already removed the video (on advise of a Mod over there) but someone else had already ripped the video and has reposted it.

The video at the end clearly shows the reg of the car in front at the toll booth. They`ll check logs of that Reg and look for an M5 going through right after it and there`s probably a camera somewhere along that stretch to identify the driver. Even if they claim they weren`t driving, the court wont accept "I can`t remember who was"

I think its completely idiotic that someone does that speed on the public highway. That speed should only be on a track where no one else can get hurt

Yea ok we all speed to a point but doing nearly 3 times the legal limit on the public highway...guy wants taking off the road!!

A simple thing like a puncture, blow out or even hit something (debris) on the motorway...and he and others would be history

I think most people try to hit top speed at least once when they have a performance car and i don't think its such a bad thing to do it on a motorway and m6 toll is one of the best. But I don't agree with doing it when there are other cars on the road, if he wants to kill himself then thats his choice but not good to put others at risk.

Lets hope he doesn't end up regretting putting this vid on the net but my guess is he's wishing he hadn't already.
