Thinking of fitting a set of xenon kits to the car instead of just uprating the bulbs. How bad will the glare be to oncoming drivers as mr2 headlights aren't designed for xenons and will it make it difficult to mot.
Also am i correct in thinking that bi xenon means that the bulb will work for both high and low beam?

Just get a second set of headlights to mod (make those xenon) and when MOT comes pop the crap units in?

I like your way of thinking:D
Ok so MOT not a problem as i could just mod a spare set of lights for the xenons and swap them over to the originals for the mot. So next question is would i be better to get a second hand set of mr2 lights to mod for the xenons or use these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/86-95-Toyota-MR2-Crystal-Clear-Projector-Headlights_W0QQitemZ120396289891QQcmdZViewItemQQpt ZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item120396 289891&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1121%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C 240%3A1318 which seem to be clearer than original lights with an extra lense bit in the middle. Would the ebay set throw the light from the xenons even better than originals.

They are the job, Buy those and fit your xenon kit into them. You will have no glare then and better cut off point.

Would there be a problem come mot time and would i get much grief from the old bill.
My plan is to get the ebay headlights fit them with bi-xenon hids so light spread should be ok. Also going to fit hid's in the fog's for extra light when the main beams are on. Then just got to get sidelight bulbs to match 6000k hid's.
Is any of the above obviously illegal/mot failure

Forgot that you need the self levelling bit and washers. Oh well just have to fit them and keep the original set for when it comes to mot time;)
