Have you contacted them and told them this mate?

They might offer you some sort of compensation.

Got any pics to show how they are looking?

we always make a point of telling our customers theres no warranty on polished rims . in fact one of my suppliers wont even sell me polished rims because im in scotland and the weather and salt on the roads etc just ruins them in no time im actually trying to get a set changed under warranty on one of our staffs audi tt as they've corroded inside 6 months

I have had the same problem's with mine,i only put them on the car in December...

I know salt roads could be to blame, but im in ireland and even though we do have shit roads in general its an extremely rare occasion when our roads are salted....

I also purchased from BMautosprt..The guys there are sound though and i guess thats what you get with reps....

I have a set of Linea Corse Lemans, I hope the same does not happen to them! I know they are produced by rota wheels who I'm led to believe are a reputable manufacturer. I too was originally looking at the reps that BM autosport do but decided against them only because they do not have the stepped lip in the rear - it's shocking how they have corroded so quickly, you should post some pics up!

Are the BMautosport ones polished everywhere? I'm pretty sure the The Linea Corse Lemans have a polished lip which is lacquered and a painted face. They are without doubt the best looking alloys I have ever owned although they are a right bitch to clean and keep clean!

i had a set of BM Autosport LM reps for over a year with no problems Pav has them on his E46 coupe now. Mine weathered really well almost better than my genuine LMs.

I guess it depends on the batch you got, i might have been lucky!

Sorry to hear this, must be so frustrating. I have a set of acs type 3 reps from bmautosport on my e36 and they have been fine. Had them for about 2years now and they lasted well through the snow. Maybe you were just unlucky with this set being poorly made. I would stick to originals when possible, u pay for the quality and if u pick a design u really like u won't need to change it.

again i have bought wheels from bmautosport and not had a problem with them, think you might just of been unlucky

as a rule i don't buy reps - i had set 17 m3 alloys on e36 - and buckled on every rim - so they went in the bin bought a set op oem 17 m3 and you could abuse them till the cows come home - hence why i went to such lenght to fit gen oem 19 m3 alloys on my saloon.
had arch rolled and the the spacers machined off the rear alloys..
hope you sort your problem out mate

im afraid the same has started happening to mine styler, but to be fair, i know i havent looked after them as well as you did mate. I think it had a lot to do with the bad snow and salt we had this winter. After the downpour of snow at the start of the year, i stupidly went to india for two weeks without washing the grit etc off my wheels, they have quite badly corroded since then. Was not happy, they are such good looking wheels too.

just get the refurbed, costs about £60 per wheel and then will look like new.

Unlucky Pete.

The genuine LM's suffer from the bubbling as well too, but on the inside of the rim. Most people don't notice it.

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread.

Pete did you go ahead with the Linea Corse Lemans's? I'm looking at getting a set in the next couple of weeks, seeing as your in Aberdeen too it would be handy to know how they have weathered...?

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Kris

I have genuine ones on and left them on over winter last year. Have some cracking of laquer so am pretty dissappointed really. My own fault. Thought I kept good care of them but do remember a few times wishing I had washed them quicker after salt!. Still have to get them refurbed so any advice for a good place to get them done to a high standardwould be appreciated
