View Full Version : Help needed with lowering springs - E92 325d M-Sport
Need some help finding some springs to lower the car about an inch more than what the current m-sport suspension is set at.
Will be either H&R or Eibach. I've just gone with H&R and am very pleased. Have run Eibach prokits previously and they have been just as good but may not lower by as much as you may be after. H&R will lower slightly more than the prokit, but then there may be the sportline option from Eibach.
The thing is i've found 2 kits for the car from H&R.
1. Front: 60mm and Rear: 40mm
2. Front: 50mm and Rear: 25mm
Thing is I don'tknow which one is right to buy, will these be the amount of lowering on a standard non-m sport car?
If so which one is likely to lower the m-sport buy about an inch?
Also found EiBach pro kit which does 35mm front and 25mm rear.

I'm running:
2. Front: 50mm and Rear: 25mm
I'd avoid going any lower.
Part number: 29187/1, Teddy at SSDD will sort them for you.

50mm fronts / 25mm rears is the way to go. Also, the drop in mms is always from stock SE ride height and not sport.
Hotcoupe's is just right...

if you running on sport suspension then usually take 10-15mm off the manufacturers quoted drop.
H&R are quite low but ok if you drive carefully :)
Matt didnt know you also did walls....LOL
Anyone know of a good place to in the Edinburgh/West Lothian area to get springs fitted and then have the alignment done?
