View Full Version : Masking tape residue
Have some masking tape residue on my boot lid which has been on there for about 2 weeks now, I've been using water and my nails to try and get it off and it is coming off but very slowly!
Any tips of getting it off quicker???
Advice greatly appreciated.

Petrol or white spirit softens it up a treat :)

Get yourself down Halfrauds and get some AG tar and glue remover, blot on with a microfibre, leave to soak for a short while and it should wipe away.
Once removed re-apply some wax to area.

Surprised masking tape left any residue at all. At work I use regular lighter fluid and a lint free cloth to remove any adhesive that won't wipe straight off. Helps if you let it soak in if it's really stubborn.
WD40 worked a treat, thanks guys.
