Well had my next mod turn up over a week ago, but just not had time to get it fitted.

But last night at about 7pm I got to my mates to finally get it sorted.

So Super excited...lol

Out with the old:

In with the new (these were taken at Center Gravity as I needed to get the 4wheel alignment done), Car was filthy as it pissed down today hence the exhaust being so dirty already:

The sound from the Supersprint is a little deeper than stock but the look is superb....:cool: :cool: :cool:

OMG a supersprint, i thought you liked the silent but deadly Milltek type Exhausts, not the loud and hurricana bashing Supersprint systems ! :D

Top stuff Raj it looks awesome :cool: , it will get deeper over a few 100 miles as the exhaust gets coked up.

See you went with Chris in the end :D !!! Was he as good as people say Raj ?

How does the car handle/ride now Raj after the alignment ? ?

as usual "Phirst Klass," stuff Raj . :D

I assume your vehicle is fitted with a DPF, does the new exhuast have any effect with that.

But as everyone said top work chap!

PMSL. Milltek don't actually do a system for the 530d, otherwise I would have.
The Supersprint is a little deeper but not hugely noticeable really (but then that would be due to it being a diesel).

Mine does have the particulate filter (which is probably the most restrictive part of the system). The new back end doesn't affect that at all.

where is the DPF in these as a matter of interest?i had considered the idea for mine but im not a fan of noise...

Howe was the fit?did it allign properly?

The particulate filter is in the same section as the CAT. But your doesn't have one.

Get the Milltek for yours as that is what I had. No increase in noise that is truely noticeable and they are good quality for the price (lifetime warranty).

The Supersprint went on a treat with no issues at all. The way the brackets are for the hangers they are adjustable so you can get the exhaust to exactly where you want it to sit. Mine is quite close to the top of the cutout so may drop it just a touch.

Very nice Raj. I had a Supersprint many years ago on an E36 318i and it was a quality item. I had a Milltek on my old 330d and that was nicely finished too but had an annoying 'boom' at dead on 2000rpm.

When I had my E39 530d a friend of mine on the 5 series forum got the Supersprint for his and it was lovely. If I hadn't changed cars that would have been my next upgrade for the 530d. Nice one.

I haven't been around much so hope all is well with you and yours.

Its already on the list! But the list is long and the pockets are full only of fluff :(

I've spent over 6k on the car on paper! Just wish I had the paper to spend whats on paper ;)
