I would have thought once the engine is run in you would be ok.

It can be done straight away, some dealers even offer a re-map before you collect it but if your not sure how your dealer would react to a re-map, I`d wait untill your at least sure there`s no problems with the car.

Raj,Did you mentioned before you wont be changing cars? ;)....

you have to do the remap immediately as you wont have much time to enjoy it as the next car will be calling :)

Congrats on a new car.

So no one even guessing what car it will be?

I would guess x6 would be great with or without re-map :)

I put a tuningbox in my 525d with less than 200 miles on the clock. Just couldn't stand driving it without the box in.

Any warranty problems, just take the box out.

The HEICO map for the Volvo requires 8000KM on the clock. It is a full warranty remap.

Thats ready for trade in with Raj isn't it ;)

Our local Land Rover dealership has a company fit tuning boxes at PDI for them at customer request. Its not an issue with them for warranty.
