Anyone got new tom tom maps that cover Southern Ireland....best way to check is to put in Dublin as a city as Tom Tom say it's covered in the new maps.
I have TT mobile 5 for my phone but it only covers Uk and Northern Ireland.Not much use to me :(

forgive what is probably an inane question , but I have heard this Tom Tom name a lot lately , could you enlighten me on exactly what kind of GPS we are talking about ?

TomTom Navigation software is one of the best SatNav systems you can get thats not OEM.
Available as a stand alone unit in their Go series - sort of plug and play !
Also available as seperate software for use on a PDA or XDA such as an iPaq which allows you to use it in the car as Sat Nav but also remove it easily to use all the other functions of a personal organiser.
Latest version of TomTom is 5 & its very good, I use it every day & could'nt do my job as well without it. :D Even got all speed cameras, traffic cameras, garages, hotels, race tracks etc on it as POI's.

i actually read up as well over the weekend ...sound awesome value ....£600 ish for aplug and play GPS !!! these guys are going to wipe the GPS scene clean
