I was doing some work over the weekend on my 2001 E46 320ci and noticed that the ignition coils had some burn/white residue on them.
They have never been changed so far, and still the car drives fine...
They are the Bremi coils and from what ive heard they seem to be problematic, so i decided to get the Bosch ones.
I phoned the dealer and guess what the price is for a pack of six....
720EUR (650 pounds) !!!
They have both Bosch and Bremi and insisted that the Bremi coils are fine.
Anyway, I was wondering if there was anywhere I could get them for cheaper in the UK.
The ones I need have the base with the 2 holes (screw in type - not pencil type). But I need the Bosch ones and not Bremi as shown in pic.

Thanks for your time and help.Much appreciated.

I changed mine to the Bosch ones when the charger was fitted and they cost about £180 fitted for the 6.

These prices are so low compared to the prices in Cyprus.
I know that the pencil type ignition coils are a little cheaper than the screw in type.

Pencil type : 14195

Screw type : 14196

I need the 2nd one.

Called Bosch, and they are cheaper than the dealer (@550 pounds for 6) but still expensive.
I'll give Eurocarparts a ring to make sure they have the ones I need and probably order from them.

Thanks for the input guys
