Just wondered if anyone has heard the jl 13t5 shallow sub and wondered how they sound, do they compare to a w6?

i have heard the 12tw5 in a car and it does sound quite nice but not comparable to the w6 range. w6 range is so much better.

As andy said the w6 range is a lot better. But if your tight for space its perfect. They cab drop quite low and they have a generous output.

think I'll stick to the w6 in the ski hatch idea, I'd only regret it later.

I'm considering a shallow mount sub as the E90 has a small sort of parcel shelf thats in the main cabin, seperate to the boot which is completely sealed off.. Just thinking of the best way to get some bass in, and this parcel area might do it.

But thats a conversation for a few months down the road :D
