We are soon going to start manufacturing these replacement alloy SMG paddle shifters, they are larger in size and have been completely redesigned so that you will always be able to catch the paddles and change gear when fast cornering. The original SMG paddles are known to be too small and are difficult to shift gear when turning. Have fitted 2 sample sets to customer cars and they are 100% satisfied!!! Here are some pictures of the sample sets fitted to 2004 E46 M3 SMG II:

They will be available in brushed alloy or anodised black alloy finishes, might considering making carbon fibre version also in the future. Just trying to get a quick feeler from the forum members to see if anyone is interested and what you all think about this product. Similar product is only available from US at around USD 300 a set plus shipping and import tax, we will probably retail them at around £ 119 inc P&P in the UK later and of course Evotechnik members get discount as usual.
Please give me your opinions.

Are you able to bring your samples to the Pod Teddy?
I'd like a set in Gunmetal or black, but in a powdercoated finish (I think thats right) basiclly the rough to touch finish.

great minds think alike teddy eh :)
nice one
I think all who looked at the other forum, was trying to think of how to make them at a more attractive cost, $250 + shipping is just WAY too much!!

not sure about gunmental finish Aj, will probably have the rushed silver and anodised black ones available first. They are both rough to touch I believe.
I'll try to cut down the cost as much as possible, so expect the price to be very competitve when they become available.

So Teddy? I guess the holes in them... improve power to weight? Nice one! We will have to try out two M3's at the Pod next time... one with and one without. LOL
On a serious note, me likes....

LMAO guys hahaha
Price is under negotiation, once we have reached an agreement we'll start production straight away. I'll try to keep it as low as possible.

I found somewhere in the US that sells these for $100 plus $20 post to the UK
I'd sooner give my money to a uk company but the prices need to be competive.
