my 330i wagon is stock apart from gruppe m induction kit. Whats my best way of upping the power to circa 300 bhp. I really miss the way my old M3 evo pulled like a train and I want that feeling back in the 330i.
What kind of bhp would an exhaust and a remap give me?
Any real advantage to fitting a quad system (apart from noise and looks)
?
What are the options of clagging on a 'charger? Is any engine work needed or is it bolt on and go? What kind of power will that give me?.
Money is an object but I don't mind spending decent coin for improved results

Hi Ali-Bumble,
A good start would be a set of power pullies at a very respectable £198.80 a good cheap mod. Next i would go for the Eisenmann rear box and supersprint cetre section (and if you could stretch to it the 100 cell racing cats aswell ) A re-map will also increase horses and smooth out the factory flat spots which will make the car more fruity :D . As for a supercharger that is the pinicle, starting from around £ 3880.32 for the TS1 kit ( 320bhp/400nm ) up to the £ 6000.00 ish for 450ish bhp/520nm.
choise is yours :D

what kind of gains would be expected from the exhaust and remap plus cell cats? My car has covered 86k if that makes any difference.
Any thing like an LSD with shorter drive ratios? I did hear somewhere Quaiffe did something like that but hard to get hold of

Hi Ali-Bumble,
ive just been told that supersprint don't offer the 100 cell cats for the rhd 330 :( but with an Eisenmann rear box and centre pipes + power pullies + re-map we would expect to see around 25-30 bhp increase with much better throttle response and smoother running.
As for the Quaiffe diff they are very good but as you say very hard to get hold off and are very expensive.
