I have recently decided to get a set of springs for my E46 328 ci, and Westside off E36coupe.com and a few others have suggested that i use Boge lowering spring kit. I think Westside has fitted a few sets for people on this forum, so i just wondered how low it will take the car , and does it make the ride really hard? The M-tec springs on the car at the moment are a bit soft in heavy cornering IMO, so i hope they are better than standard.
Any suggestions would be Appreciated.

i had tien springs fitted with standard shocks, they were really nice ride and lowered a bit more than eibach ones. i have recently had koni shocks fitted to and now it rides like a beast :):)
i know ppl on here have eibach , never heard of boge myself ??

ive had some Boge springs fitted on Thursday down at R-Tech along with my arches rolled.
I had Eibach Pros on before, but they just werent low enough for me.
I heard the Boge are pretty much as good as the Eibachs for ride handling etc, Im happy with em :)

Yeah, I've heard they are of equal quality. 330-Singh fitted Boge springs to his E46 a short while back, you might want to contact him for some more info. I know he was very happy with them.

I think they drop the rear more than the eibachs producing a slightly less aggressive but (imo) more stylish look. I would probably go for them if I had to make a choice. :)

MatH330 had Boge fitted, personally, not a big fan, for a few more £££, go Eibach

Eibach you pay for the brand name, IMO there is no noticeable difference in ride quialty between the two as they are both progressively wound.

Here's a pic of my 330 with the Boge springs with the standard shocks:

I used to have Eibach's on my E36 and they sit a little high for my liking.

BOGE springs are good, they are also used in many OEM applications. For the money, they are better value compared to the Eibachs. However, if you like to corner your car hard, I recommend Eibach Sportline. They drop the car more (especially front) are more progressive than the Pro Kit and BOGE. Best suited for hard driving IMO. Ride is reasonably comfortable too.

i myt sound stupid here but its been bugging me for a while can you not mix say pro front, sport rear? personally id say no as they may be different loads or summots but it would cure the rear always being so high which annoys me.

You can but you may spoil the handling. If you're more show than go, definitely a possibility. A lot of people has done that.

But it also mean you have to buy 2 sets of springs.

im shocked but thats good i dont mind the handling being comprmised its only a 318 so i cant go fast show is best for me. as soon as it comes back from bodyshop il need to seriosly get a sport kit too and try it.

You know your bm's far too well lol
