just found out that there are track days on the bahrain GP Circut (http://www.bahraingp.com.bh/) so now I could use my car on track, I'll be going in september if the answers to these questions are answred and I'm satisfied (I Hope:) ) I'll go :
Will there be stress on the cars engine?
its no M3 the M3 is kind of desgined to do track days.
The brakes will the wear alot like until they finish?
what things that I should be aware for .
I need to know if I'm going so I can book from now for the end of septemeber or Mid november as its colder.

And my uncle might come with his carrera 4 911.

Any car used on track is going to weigh heavily on the engine, brakes and tyres. Imagine this, that for every 5 miles you do on the track will be the equivalent of 100 miles on the road. It's best to have the car given the once over before going to the track and then another one afterwards.

During track, remember one thing, it's not a race, you would expect to drive back in the car you arrived in. If you feel that there is something wrong with the car whilst on the track, slow down to allow others to pass and pit. If you find that your brakes aren't working properly, you definately need to slow down (also known as brake fade) Secondly, when coming off the track, always remember to (if permitting) to do a cooling down lap to cool the brakes and the engine. Thirdly, when in the pits or parked up, never use the hand brake to avoid brake disc warping and remember to pop the hood to allow for the engine to cool.

When leaving the venue, always remember to check the tread on your tires to see if you have enough to travel home on without the local law enforcement handing you a ticket for using manmade slicks on a public road.

Above all, enjoy and play safely. There are always some chaps out their who think they are Schuey and will try to outrun and overtake everything. If the track is marshalled properly, these people will be expelled.

All cars can go on the track, tracks aren't just limited to M3s. It doesn't matter what the car is, but who's driving it, either a sensible person who is out to enjoy but be aware and curtious to others, or a right twerp who spoils everyone else's fun.

There, that's my 2 cents worth.
