I just got a Alpine CHA-S634 6CD MP3 Changer + Soundlinx e39 adapter (http://www.soundlinx.co.uk/shop/?urid=0&s=bmw&pid=20&product=view#)
mine says E39 to M bus etc..on the sticker, identical to one in the pic
but taking out my old 6 disc changer, (build date nov2001), got the 3pin plug, and also a thin black "optical" cable.
Connected up the 3pin plug, but got nowhere to connect the optical part.
Anyone used this combo before? or got this changer to work on their E46??
Might need to get another soundlinx adapter, or if not, sell it. :confused:
