Hi bud hope your well, bit of a specific question.
Someone at work has had a MKi9200 unit fitted to his 58 plate Audi A6. Car does not have the BOSE upgrade. He has an iPhone 3g on the newest 2.1 Firmware
After messing him about and eventually having to plus in a new MMI module in order to amplify his speakers etc which was all outside of what he initially specified; Finally got it fitted. The iPhone pairs fine and can send/receive calls but the iPod functionality doesnt work. If your called, the music is meant to pause, this isnt happening... sometimes music won't play at all and even fwd/next don't play.. Its all a bit fucked.
He had this fitted by caraudiosecurity in Hayes, whom I now think are absolute idiots over this...
Anyway the question is, do you know of any known bugs on the Parrot that they are looking to resolve re: 2.1 ? Or could it be they've fitted it wrong?
Any response appreciated, dude.
Cheers mate.
NB. My suggestion was to put the phone back to 2.0.1 firmware and try it then. If the kit worked fine with older iphones then a roll back should work. This is if caraudiosecurity are correct to say they've not fucked it up.
