Anyone running them? PS2 prices seem extortionate, and I feel many are sucked in by 'theyre expensive, mst be best'.
falken 452's on my 19"s are better than the ps2's on my 18" and less than half the price.

I am on Goodyear eagle F-1 aym....my only comment is they are very good on the wet (grippy and safe) and thick side wall so you don't curb your alloy lol
Not that anyone asked, but Dunlops 2000E Sport tyres are shite :(
Conti Contacts, Pirelli P-Zero Neros, and Goodyear Eagles are all ALOT better. Falken 452s get recommended to me time and again aswell but I've not tried them.
My first choice on the little surrender monkey are the P-Zeros atm.
Advantage to 215/45/16 tyres though ;) £70 a corner ;)

Have just replaced my Potenzas with Goodyear F1 Asymmetrics, not done a huge amount of miles yet but so far so good.

Falkens are rubbish. Ive been hearing a lot of good things about Eagle F1's. A mate of mine last week got 4 sets of Eagle f1s for his CSL at kwik fit for £620!!

Although I don't do anything else other than drive on public roads at the speed limit lol. :D

F1 Assy's are good, I've been running them the past 12,000 miles or so, very grippy dry or in the wet, much better than the Conti Sport 2's which I had when I first got the car.
The Assys are slightly on the soft side so you won't get mega miles out of them, but the trade off is well worth it imho.
Not a fan of 452's myself, yes they are cheap, the performance / feel / grip difference between F1's and 452's is big enough to ensure that Falkens would never be put back on my car.

I've got the asymmetric F1's on mine. I've been running them for about 3k miles now. I'm pretty impressed and my last set of tyres before them were PS2's. I won't be going back to those.
They do grip well, feel planted and are very quiet IMO. Road noise is an important factor to me.
If you can get a set at a decent price then deffo go for it.

Well he got a quote from one tyre place for that price, and apperantly kwik fit do price match, and they matched the price of £620. Afterwards, the salesman realised that they were losing £5 a tyre on the sale lol. What utter cowboys.
I can get the details of the kwik fit, and i can give you guys the details to go into any kwik fit for a price match ;)
4 sets of tyres, meaning 16 tyres. for 620. Are you *SURE* about this Baris lol.

nobody has mentioned vredestein ultra sessantas, better than ps2s imo at f1 prices
Falkens are rubbish.
have you used them, if so your the first person ive heard that from, the ps2's had trouble putting the power on to the road for me and the orange light was on a lot, especially in the wet, where as the falkens grip so much better.

Sorry to disagree Baris, but having read enough reviews from other M3 owners & used them myself I find them great, the FK451's were poo, but the FK452 are totally different and far superior to the previous versions.
Will give my full opinion on them when they are fitted to my M3.
They had tons of grip wet/dry on my 330d:p

I also recomend the Falken ziex ze 912's too very good in the wet and very good in the dry and imho better than the very good fk452.
I have to argue with Danch tho, i thought the fk451's were brilliant and better than the fk452's but to me the ziex ze 912's are even better than both the other two (and cheaper).

Phil,
The ziex ze 912's are a comfort tyre per se, not really a performance tyre;)
My purchase was based on online reviews as well as inside sources at a tyre distributor;) :p
Also noteable is that the FK452 likes a slightly higher psi compared to the Potenza's I was running therefore reducing sidewall flex which gave a uneasy feel & giving a more responsive driving feel:D ;)
Cheers

i will be getting new wheels over the winter period anyway so will look to put some new tyres on, and im 95% sure that they will be falken ???? (something);) :D (plus i get a really good price on them)

XKalibar, could you send me the details for Kwik fit please?
I maybe should have said, Ive got a CSL, and do 3,000pa. So I want grip, not mileage (to an extent).
Ive been reading good reviews of the FK452s, but I dont thnk they'll be enough of a tyre for the CSL.

They do grip ;)
I went back to PS2s since I sold my 19"s. I don't mod as much these days, so got to find other ways to spend my money :D
.
Are your PS2s bald?
no brand new, they just have trouble planting 450flb torque on the road where as the falkens don't  .
