We have been selling a huge amunt of BMW Performance range parts of late, especially to Japan and USA, as they seem to have difficulty getting these parts.
Now we were never a huge fan of the previous AC Schnitzer sales ethos, as they really did put huge mark ups onother manufacturer's products and then simply add the ACS badge on; not to say their stuff was / is not good, but was just so expensive compared to getting the same part from the source manufacturer such as eibach, bilstein etc.
HoweverBMW really seem to have got the balance right with their replacement BMW Performance range, the products generally seem very good indeed and just as importanty the pricing seems very fair ! Some examples are £140 for a short shift kit ( ok it is not as complete as say Rogue Engineering, but still value), and £under700 for a 135i front big brake kit ( the latter surely must be a pricing mistake at BMW, it includes 2 x discs, mounting hardware and 2 x 4 pot calipers ! ).
So in short, dont hesitate to opt for these parts if they have them for your model, they are well worth it.We have listed most of the range on our website, and are updating it as we go along. Being BMW parts many of you may be able to get them direct from your own dealer of course.
We were particulary taken by their seats and the steering wheel with in built digi - display, so have bought these to try and somehow fit into the Bananna M3, does not look too hard a job, will post up when all done.
