Speed awareness again

OOOOO no ive just been caught again 38 in a 30 .

the road i work on is a 50mph so i have to pull out on to a 50 then it gos pretty much into a 30mph .

down this road is a camera but lately there has been a Mobil speed van also parked up a few yards in front of the the gatso, i saw this van before i pulled onto the road so i was aware of it being there, however apparently i got caught, when i questioned this in a letter the reply i got back was .


i have read your letter about the allegation but have decided to continue with the process on this occasion


the git could have let me off, i have also been made aware that this machine is only calibrated once a year, when i thought they had to be done on each outing.

any way i have been offered anther speed awareness course BUT there is a box to tick (have you been on a course in the larst 3 years ) my larst was a year ago, so do i tick the box no and see if i get away with it what do we think.

tick, it and see what happens, if you get caught, play dumb and say you read it wrong, blame it on your dislexia..........how many points you racked up know

don't quite know how your going to 'play dumb'... what the box say's is not really easily confused is it??

mind you, you could point out that you managed to get caught by a speed trap that you saw before you pulled onto the road, and you spell 'last' like 'larst'... and they will probably go with it :p :D

There should also be a section that says you agree that you haven't attended a previous course before and so must accept the three points.

Unfortunately you got caught, so I'd play it by the book if I were you.

but the point is i dont see how i was speeding .

a) i saw the camera van before pulling on to the road.
b) both my brother and me waved at the van as we went by, i cheeked the speedo before waving.

i was only going to go on the course because it was cheaper than taking a day off work to go to Cort.

Yeah, I agree:D Those miserable sh*ts do an important job, but they are still misearable sh*ts.

i decided to tick the correct box, its bound to be on there system that i have already attended, and it states at the bottom of the page that if i lie about having been on one before i will indefinitely get the points and fine.

It's always best to be honest with something like this as they will have it on record. You could still contest it if you honestly think you weren't speeding.
