Had a close one today, driving down a nice straight picec of road, wasnt speeding just chilling about 40mph and my back left tyre decided to have a blow out, after a bit of swerving and a slightly puckered ring  I pulled over to have a look at what the help just happend, just my luck had a huge chunk out the tyre and rim, seems my mother in law had borrowed my car and clipped a curb to miss a higher car on the wrong side of the road a negleted to tell me. This near miss dented my rim and knackered my tyre. Main thing was I was driving slow, normaly I give it a bit along this road could of been a lot worse as not a lot of room for error.
And to top it off I jacked it up on the crappy BMW jack and the car rolled forward on the jack and nearly fell on this disc, and before anyone says yes I know the frront wheels should of been chocked but there was nothing and I mean nothing to jam them with. I was swearing my head off, why give you such a flimsy piece of sh!t for such a heavy car
So now got to find a decent place to refurb the wheel as a new alpina rim will be the earth to buy :( and another £200 for a rear tyre plus an alinement check to make sure nothing else is bent
On the plus side im picking up my new M3 tomorow I cant wait
