AV-2411 sounds like your chappie, they're around £350-400ish for just the changer I think but double that at minimum if you want the whole package inc screen.

I should have mentioned that the 2411 isn't actually an Alpine, it's a Veba, but there seems to be a large following of people who fit it as an alternative. I'm not sure if that's down to cost reasons or down to the fact that Alpine's mainline DVD changer (DHA-S680P) doesn't do mp3.. One of the guys at work has been looking at the S680P so I'll ask him tomorrow if he knows if it does mp3 or not. Unless Andy pops in with his vast knowledge in the meantime of course. :)

Bleh I got this far, figured I may aswell finish the job off. :p Called my work buddy up, he's been quoted 900 notes for a S680P, but found out that they don't do cd-text, dvd-r or mp3. He queried the latter and was advised to get the CD changer if he wanted mp3 playback. Not the answer you wanted I'm sure, but hope that helps anyway.
Andy can probably advise you the best workaround for it if there is one, I'm no expert I'm just a nosey parker who listens to everyone else's car-related conversations...

hey dude,
if you want an all in one unit, for the money i would recommend a unit from suppliers like cko and necvox etc for their stand alone dvd changer because it will work out cheaper. however you will have an additional remote control for the functions of the unit and there will have to be a remote eye put somewhere.
or alternatively you could go for a dedicated single disc dvd player like big fas and an mp3 cd changer which would be controlled by the 806 screen.
lots of options to choose from.
if you want any further details then pm me and i'll give you my contact details and we can talk further
