Just a quick Q, would you happen to have one (second hand or replica)?

gotcha ....
that is a kevlar carrier ......I would suggest getting it from a dealer or breaker , as making a custom piece would cost more .
In the end , you may find it more economical and less labour intensive to actually just buy an M3 replica bumper to fit staright onto your existing carrier ...depaends how much the rail is and what you paid for the M3 oem bumpe
best of luck either way

Thanks for the clarification Dan.
You do know, there's more to just that carrier to getting the bumper on right? Bear in mind, the M3 is on a wider track and the wings are flared, so you'll either have to press the bumper in on each side to get it to fit, OR widen the arch track.

Thanks, got front & back bumpers for £140 and I had tried breakers just in case and have had a price back of £120 so not that bad.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Fas,
I had looked into doing the 2001 bumper onto my 2000 330 Ci but they are quite rare to pickup so went with a 2002 bumper & carrier as the 2002 bumper has a foam backing which can be shaved to allow better fitment and the brackets which hold the bumpers near the wings moved back slightly by a few mm which will give the following results, reading on e46 fanatics a few people have done this easier than the 2001 bumper retrofit

I've got my original one, together with the bumper skin in Mystic Blue and all the mounting hardware. Fog lamps with bulbs as well. My CSL bumper doesn't use it. They are quite expensive because of the material, circa £600 from a dealer(just the re-inforcement bar). If you're really interested, PM me.

Just managed to get the carbon kevlar carrier for £50 [jam , just waiting for it to land before fitting.
Will take some pics in the process. :D
