Hey guys !
Well, I asked around at E46fanatics but didn´t get many replies so I´m going to try here. Does anyone have an idea of what can be causing my car to cut power at a little below 6000 rpm instead of 6500 rpm as its normal on 330ci´s ?
Thank you !

The rev limiter is kicking in at 6000rpm or is just loosing power and then cutting at 6500rpm?

MAF sensor, cam shaft sensor or maybe ignition coils. Engine is limiting revs because something is not running in tune.
I was having similar problem with my car, error was for MAF sensor.
Just get a diagnostic done on it, should find the problem.

Rev limiter is kicking in at about 6000 rpm.
I´m also having the supposedly common problem of the car stalling when I stay too much time on the clutch along with the cruise control not working (the stall and cruise control problems appeared at the same time), could this all be the MAF ? I´ll try getting the diagnosis...

it's probably MAF or camshaft sensor. Mine kept stalling randomly to or could be a combination of the two. In some cases both need replacing at the same time, just get it checked with the comp, error codes should show what is wrong.

Didn't I answer you on e46fanatics that a faulty MAF will disable cruise control?

Yes, but that was regarding the other problem that I just refered (the cruise control and stall), I asked quite some time ago on E46F about the cutoff at 6000rpm and didn´t get replies and thats what I was refering too, sorry.
