My rear shocks have gone and the car is bouncing all over the place! Can anyone advise me on where I can get a decent set of either standard or aftermarket shocks? Also I've been told that the rear shocks have gone but is it advisable to get the fronts replaced aswell?

If you've dropped you car by 40mm (as per your sig) then I think you should get aftermarket shocks as opposed to standard. Standard ones will get worn out quicker with the drop you've got.

I think a wise man once said... 'If it breaks, mod it'. I'd go aftermarket too :). I've heard good things about koni shocks.

If the rear shocks have lasted thing long until they are eventually 'gone', it is likely the fronts will be near the end of their lives if you're still on the original. So I would replace the entire set.
If you're running on stock springs, there's nothing really worng with replacing the factory shocks like for like. Try German Swedish or Euro Car Parts etc ...
If you're on aftermarket springs, Koni and H&R does pretty good shocks. Alternatively, consider a set of cup-kit. You get 'matching' shocks and springs.
