Enhanced 2nd Gen CCFLs on my E36 (Pic Warning)

Picked up some enhanced 2nd gen ccfls from teddy at the meet. Had a bit of a worry fitting them as they don't fit the same as the old ones but I had another go this afternoon and they look [cool!!

I took pictures all the way through the installation so if pics are needed of this procedure don't hesitate to shout.

I was a bit worried because they sit on the lip of the lenses rather than inside but it's turned out really nice. The factory fitted silver backing seems to be blocking all light going backwards, have to wait until night to properly see though. Them being fitted to the lip gives a thinner ring too, which I quite like the look of, looks more menacing.

I'll get some proper night pics when I get a chance. Anyway, thanks to Teddy again, came through as usual. :)

Yeah, quite pleased with the way they turned out. Car feels so much better after having done the first mod, I know it's mine now. :)
