All the MODS are due to go on this week on the car but i thought i might as well get it detailed before getting it done as i probally wont get a chance once its been modded as i dont thinnk i will stop driving till i go on holiday, so i contact Mark (Black Sabath) and thought i would give his friend (Brian) a go, have used a few detailers in the past so knew what to expect as far as finish.

Conclusion is he is as best as the best i have used in the past, but at a price which i feel cannot be matched for quality and service. Thanks for the dedication Brian and thanks for the contact Mark.

Here pics from yesterday

Had this very nice M6 finished in Interlagos Blue to sort out

No befores i'm afraid as i forgot i had the camera with me until I had done the engine, interior and washed the exterior

So i'll start with the paint inspection

Not massively swirled, but what swirls there were were short sharp and deep.

A close up of the swirls

Now I've done more than my fair share of BMW's over the years and like to think i pretty much know what to expect when it comes to correcting them, but this one was something else! This is probably the hardest paint i have come across to date. Most panels needed 2 hits of M105 on a cutting pad, followed up with UF SE on a polishing pad to get it looking good.

Some post polishing shots

A few of the deeper RDS had to be left as i felt they were just to deep to totally remove but managed to reduce them enough to not be too noticeable

After the machine was completed LSP was Z2 x 3 followed with Z18

Wheels sealed with Z-CS

Tyres dressed with Z16

Zorts with Britemax

Leaving this - not the best of pics as it was evening and the light was fading

loving the detailing what a difference. Not too sure about the lighting conditions though, either the colour is a little boring like mystic blue or it's the lighting. What's next some new wheels?
