After 38,000 mls, disks are finally needing a change. As the car will do/does no track work, I'm looking for the best value road option. As a result, I've decided to stick with OEM disks and make the upgrades around that so namely:

1. Uprated Pads
2. Steel hoses
3. Fluid upgrade

What would people recommend for the above three?

Also, the rear set up is currently fine and no need to replace disks. However, I've heard complaints that when front set-up is improved, the braking balance gets upset a bit. Given most driving is fast on uneven roads, I want to avoid this, any thoughts?

Thanks.

if you are sticking to OEM disks (which is wise if they have not corroded or uneven wear) then most aftermarket performance pads will suit your needs. WE can supply EBC pads at competitive prices.

braided hoses are cheapest normally buying direct from manufacturers so thats probably your cheapest option. They will give you a firmer brake feel with uprated hoses.

Fluid upgrade normally not entirely necessary as your pads/discs will usually overheat before the fluid boil.
