just a quick question. brought some m6 rep wheels, and i touched them up a little arround the rims.

started to spray the Lacquer on top and it starts going dull colour and lighter in colour. do i even have to put lacquer on? is there special lacquer for wheels? and if it starts going dull and lighter does it mean that the paint isnt dry enough?

thanks

lacquer from an aerosol goes dull when it is applied in windy conditions. It also needs a warm ambient temperature.

It can also go white if you apply too much too quickly.

The only issue you may have is a reaction between the factory paint and the aerosol paint.

The tip is to spray in warm dry conditions out of the wind and apply in light coats allowing 5-10mins between coats. It should only need 2-3 coats.

As above that is spot on.
