I have a mate who is intrested in buying my CSL wheels, but he has an E36 4dr M3. I know the fronts are fine, but what would he need to do to the car so that the rears can fit?
Is it just a case of getting the arches rolled? Or is there more involved?
I thought I would ask here as EvoT is full of experts!!! :)

I think the arches will have to be pulled out quite a bit, or the center hub of the wheel will have to be shaved down, but that isnt such a good idea as it will affect the overall rigidity of the wheel.
Might be an alternative solution and Im sure if there is someone on here will chime in.

I'd doubt they will fit without major arch work (of the cutting and welding kind), here is an alternative http://tinyurl.com/6a8mox

I think the rears are ET27, theyll stick out abit though (probably not as bad as my split rims lol)
May need to get the arches flared instead of rolled as the tyres will be quite wide too. I had mine done at styledynamix.co.uk in Staines.

So they will fit, but the arches will need to be 'flared' rather than rolled to accomodate?

Id say so, but try them out first see how they look.

The rears are way to big, it would need major arch to fit.
