I used to have these on my Estoril clubsport and I never used to think they looked that good, But they really suit the darker colours IMO, like Velvet Blue and Black as Pictured above.
I say if you are getting them for a good price, go for it. Just take into consideration if they do need a refurb - this will cost you more than your average because they are a Split Rim.

I think they look nice, I'm not sure how big the ones in the first pic are, but if they are a bit bigger than those, they would look spot on. :)

You've hit the nail on the head!, 18" Clubsport alloys just look smaller to me than Mv's ..... [hmm

Nope..mine are 18's anyway mate.
The shape of the forks has a big impact on how large a wheel looks sometimes.

Clubsport rims are exactly the same size, staggered as the MV's, but yes they do a look smaller because of the split rim design.

They dont look small in real life...but at the same time they dont look overly massive..since the beemer is a big car, and most sports are running 18's.
To stand out and look big you will need a set of 19's.
The thinner the arms, and the closer the arms go to the rim, the bigger they look. Arms that angle out from the hub to the rim make the wheel look bigger too.

Yeah, clubsport's are std on 18" s, so more impact you'll need 19" s or you could drop it to make 18"'s fill better ?
